The Thrangu Tashi Choling center is under the spiritual guidance of H.H. the 17th Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje, who is the head of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan buddhism, and of H.E. Thrangu Rinpoche, the founder of the center.
H.E. Thrangu Rinpoche has appointed Lama Kunga Dorje as the leader of the center.
Since within the last years Thrangu Rinpoche is not able to travel extensively anymore due to his old age, the center is visited on a yearly basis by Tulku Damcho Rinpoche in order to grant empowerments and give teachings.
In addition, Lama Kunga is organizing courses with other teachers of the Karma Kagyu tradition.
